Casper Marathon

​The Casper Marathon is happy to introduce RRCA Western Region Director George Rehmet. George will speak at the

Pasta Dinner on Saturday June 2nd and also hand out the RRCA Medals for the Casper Marathon State Championship Race. 

George Rehmet, a San Francisco native has run over 1,000 races, which includes over 128 marathons or ultras. He served as

 RRCA State Rep from 1999 to 2004 and 2008 to 2015, and is the only person awarded Outstanding RRCA State Representative

of the Year twice. He was director for the 2009 RRCA National Convention in San Francisco and was instrumental in developing

the Physically Challenged Runner of the Year Award. George currently is a member if the Pamakid Runners & Dolphin South End Running Club of San Francisco. He is also, currently the co-race director of the San Francisco Half Marathon/5K.  Rehmet served

as chairperson for the Para Athletes Committee, Pacific Association of USATF from 2012 to 2015 and is also a certified USATF official. When not running, George is a math and science teacher for children with emotional issues at a mental health facility.

Michelob Ultra will provide adult beverages at the finish line for the participants (of age) of this years event.
If you want to partake YOU MUST present your ID and get a wristband at packet pick up.
Packet Pick Up is the only place to get your wristband so if you don't   get one .....NO BEER FOR YOU!!

4:30 a.m. Shuttle bus runs to start line from HOST HOTEL
5:55 a.m. Wheelchair Start (if applicable)
5:45 a.m. Course Instruction and Announcements at S
tart line (NO EARLY STARTS)
6:00 a.m. Marathon, and Marathon Relay Start, Casper Events Center
6:15 a.m. Half Marathon Start, Casper Events Center
NOON Marathon, Relay and Half Marathon Awards Ceremony (finish line area)
​12:30 p.m. ALL Aid Stations Close
​1:00 p.m. Finish Line Closes
​3:00 p.m. Post-Race Party! (LOCATION TBA)


***Finish line within walking distance of Host Hotels***


The 2018 Marathon, Marathon Relay 
and Half Marathon will be started by
the Natrona County High School
JR ROTC Cannon Crew.
